the ones that may happen. Quality control cannot be
trained. It can only be felt. Hence FKW picks up its

Our Quality Process has 4 step procedures.
Quality Chart design, Pre Stitching, Accessories,
Sewing and Finishing.
Quality Chart:
Once an order is confirmed, Merchandiser prepares
a quality chart that defines the type of approvals
needed for every component, accessories and fabrics
based on problems that may occur. The chart should
be verified by both quality & production staff
of FKW and suppliers.
Accessories:
Garment accessories Quality control and proper purchase
is a much neglected area by Tirupur garment exporters
& buying offices leading to inferior products
or delayed shipments. FKW know this well and prepares
separate chart and follows strict methods of quality
control on the color, shape, material and quality
of accessories like Tags, Labels, Patches, Packaging,
embellishment etc. Separate staffs follow up the purchase
and delivery of accessories at right time for uninterrupted
shipment. Oeko certificate for product safety are
ensured with most suppliers.
Pre Sewing:
All fabric and components are checked for quality
right from Yarn purchase to cutting. Yarn, knitting
construction, GSM (grams per square meter), Dyeing
Quality, Color Shades and Color fastness, are ensured
as specified by our buyers. Safe dyeing practices
are ensured and FKW fabric team provides all technical
support for the outcome of best fabrics. FKW has a
large collection of cotton & blends alike. The
Merchandising department mean while approves style
& fit, size set and production samples from production
fabrics with complete accessories.
Sewing:
The most labors intensive and hence a key area of
quality control is the garment sewing process. Our
quality controllers can judge the efficiency of production
line due to long years of production experience. Best
seam quality. Threads use, attachment techniques,
should be a norm for every tailor. In fact every tailor
knows the quality output and demands of our team.
Continuous monitoring of all suppliers is done by
a big team of QCs of FKW.
Finishing:
FKW quality permanently watches the finishing process.
As they can evaluate the output by their continuous
watch, shipments are not delayed by unexpected problems.
This 100% watch over finishing line also eliminates
shortage shipment and hence ensure full sales volume
for our buyers.
